What does a session with Simon involve?
The initial session with Simon includes a case history and going over systemic health and previous accidents, to get a sense of the situation. This is followed by a physical examination, to manage patient expectations — you will most likely be asked to dress down to their underwear or whatever is comfortable – ideally in your underwear/ leggings /shorts, to assess simple movements and understand how your body moves. A manual treatment is next, as osteopaths see structure and function as intimately related. If structure is good (well aligned and moving freely and harmoniously with surroundings), then the body will function the way it is designed to, resolving symptoms.

• You have musculoskeletal pain, from lower back pain to headaches.
• You if you have joints or muscle aches in your legs, ankles, wrists, necks, sciatica, ect.
• You want to make sure everything moves properly, or explore preventative medicine.
A little bit about Simon:
Simon is from French speaking Switzerland, and moved to the United Kingdom in 2010 to train as an osteopath. This seemed like a natural career, as from an early age he instinctively used touch and massage to help those around him. Simon has not looked back since, and regularly says that he does his dream job. He describes osteopathy as a gentle form of manual therapy, using massage and articulations as a way to influence the musculoskeletal system.
