A little bit about about Natalie Marsland

Natalie’s Sessions:

Groovement Group and 1:1 Practice – a super groovy, playful, and enriching movement practice that gets you out of your head and brings awareness into your body.

Groovement is an explorative, free movement, conscious movement practice.

What does a session with Natalie involve?

Music is specially curated to set the tone and journey of the class. Starting with your body’s natural groove, Natalie will guide you through the session as you engage with yourself, your environment, and with others if in a group.

You will reconnect with your playful inner child, letting go of tension and stress, to reset and arrive perfectly present. YES!

This is for you if:

• You want to re-engage with your body, and be more playful
• You need to spice up and inject some energy into the work place environment (Groovement is a perfect warm up for ideation sessions, presenting, resetting after too long at the computer.)
• You want to bring some fun and groove into your life, and get those endorphins flowing.

A little bit about Natalie:

Natalie’s passion for movie musicals from a young age would spark her career as a professional dancer and choreographer in the music theatre and commercial dance industries. This passion led to her being one half of the creative duo that is the award winning, immersive storytelling company, Reuben Feels.

With the mission statement “to get the world playing”, play is at the heart of everything Reuben Feels does, from rehearsing with a cast, to engaging audiences, to creative thinking sessions with clients. Natalie says “Reuben” represents the child in all of us.

From the many hours spent in rehearsals, Natalie found that she was beginning to develop a free flowing movement practice that helped get actors out of their heads and into their bodies. It was such a powerful practice that she decided to give it its own name – Groovement.

3 things about Natalie:

• Her favourite person is her daughter Talulah
• She’s a coffee snob
• She finds laundromats romantic

What others say

It was super wonderful. I love to dance but I’ve never let go all my body from toes to fingers before. At least in this way that you showed. It was something new, fresh and something that I need so much.
