What others say
Since having surgery on a prolapsed disc in my back, I have seen physios and osteopaths but can honestly say I have got more out of my Pilates classes with Davina than I ever have with any of the other practitioners. The classes are intense and focused but relaxing at the same time and Davina adds huge amounts of energy which makes the hour fly by. I’m already feeling stronger and much more flexible. Money well spent.

A little bit about about Davina Harbord
Davina’s Session:
Pilates – a form of low impact exercise that targets all of your major muscle groups while being gentle on your joints. It will help strengthen your core and back muscles to result in improved posture, alignment, and flexibility.
What does a session with Davina involve?
Davina believes in the power of breath and meditation, so she starts and finishes classes with a little breath work, grounding everyone and connecting mind to body. She offers a mixture of glorious stretches and core work, focusing on the powerhouse! Each session involves lots of glute work too, always focusing on body alignment and posture. The class flows to enjoyable music, and is for all levels.
She starts with some body alignment, then moves into some movement getting all the joints warmed up. Each class gives a full body workout, with 40 minutes of core work and 10 minutes of stretches at the end, but can be catered for each client if there is a desire to focus on a specific area. With lovely music to guide your movement, clients will feel refreshed and stretched after the class.
This is for you if:
• You are looking for a full body workout that is effective, gentle on the joints, and beneficial to posture and body alignment.
• You want to strengthen your mind, body, and the connection between them.
A little bit about Davina:
Davina has been practicing yoga and pilates for over a decade. They were her main source for exercise and keeping fit. She’s a huge advocate for mental health and understands the importance of looking after one’s body, mind, and spirit. She loves the technicalities of pilates: the focus, flow, breath work, and precision. From her own experience of all the wellness benefits of pilates, Davina was inspired to learn more, train as a pilates instructor, and share this practice with others.
3 things about Davina:
• She loves writing in her daily journal
• Davina likes travelling to seek the sun, sea, sand and nature
• She loves her cute little rescue pup, Sunny!
